Show Me Your Diamond at the Cartier Exhibition – A Day at the V&A

May 18, 20252 min read

Yesterday, I immersed myself in a world of brilliance, history, and craftsmanship at the Cartier exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. As someone deeply in love with tiaras, gems, and the stories they carry, this experience was nothing short of magical.

The exhibition is the UK’s first major Cartier showcase in nearly 30 years, running from April 12 to November 16, 2025, and features over 350 iconic pieces from across the globe. From royal jewels and celebrity pieces to artistic masterpieces, every item is a testament to beauty, culture, and legacy.

Some personal highlights:

  • Queen Elizabeth II’s Scroll Tiara and the stunning Williamson Diamond Brooch

  • Grace Kelly’s elegant engagement ring, worn in High Society

  • The opulent Patiala Necklace created for the Maharaja of Patiala

  • A snake necklace owned by María Félix, bold and unforgettable

There were dedicated sections for jewels from Russia, India, Japan, and beyond. Each piece held not just value but meaning — stories from queens, empires, artists, and dreamers.

As I walked through the exhibition, what stood out most wasn’t just the diamonds — it was the feeling they inspired. Tiaras especially spark something deep in me. They evoke mystery, royalty, elegance, and power. They make me think of untold stories and dreams waiting to be realized.

That’s the heart of my message in Show Me Your Diamond — whether through my TEDx talk, my book, or my podcast. Every woman carries a light within her. Every woman has a diamond — her unique brilliance, her voice, her story. And every woman is worthy of wearing a crown, whether the world sees it or not.

So if you're in London, I truly recommend visiting the V&A and stepping into this sparkling world. Let the jewels inspire you — not just to admire, but to remember your own worth.

This is an exquisite multi-layered diamond necklace on display at the Cartier Exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A). The necklace features several intricate rows of large, sparkling diamonds arranged in a cascading fashion. At the bottom, a large pear-shaped green gemstone serves as the striking centerpiece, surrounded by other elaborate gems. The craftsmanship reflects classic Cartier elegance and grandeur, suitable for royalty or red carpet glamour.

This necklace is another showpiece from Cartier, showcasing a regal combination of vivid rubies and diamonds. The necklace design consists of symmetrical floral motifs, with large ruby petals outlined by diamonds. Each segment is delicately placed along a diamond-studded chain, emphasizing opulence and sophistication. The rich red hue of the rubies stands out beautifully against the glittering white diamonds.
